Build a new Masjid

The community had very early on outgrown the rental property and purchased a piece of property in its current location by 1992. Over time, adjacent other properties were purchaed bringing the total land area under management of Masjid Al-Momineen to almost 6.5 acres. This property consisted of 3 buildings until fall of 2019 – two served as prayer halls for men and women, while the third was used as a rental to defray a portion of the monthly expenses. The original building, a 100 year old building, served as the men’s Musallah for 27 years. It was finally demolished in early fall of 2019 at the ripe age of 127 and replaced by the new 26,000sf Masjid. Currently, Masjid Al-Momineen possesses three buildings, the new Masjid and two others that are used as needed as housing for Imams, resident scholars. and guests – or as extra educational or community facilities.
